你将亲眼见证汤姆（Tom）的故事，一个渴望与他人好好相处的人。汤姆和家人一起住在公寓里，对任何人都没有坏心思。汤姆在上大学，同时在一家食堂打兼职。他也从事摄影工作，这是他最喜欢的职业。
